Søren Hansen: Why wind and solar will not work
I cannot recommend highly enough watching this comparative analysis by Søren Hansen of the primary sources of energy used to power our world presently and potentially into the future, including hydrogen.
This slide from Søren’s presentation speaks volumes:
Søren Hansen: Why wind and solar will not work
1 June 2023
I have a master's degree in chemical engineering, and have worked in the Danish industry for all of my career. I got involved with the environment in connection with my employment and prepared courses for our staff over many years. This led gradually to an interest in the climate issue, which I have been following for the past some 10 years. I retired in late 2019 and thereupon devoted most of my time on the climate and renewable energy issues. I got involved with the Danish Climate Realism Association and have for the past 3 years been the editor of the Association's web page: klimarealisme.dk, as well as being a member of the Board.
The web page is uniquely in the Danish language, everything we publish is written in Danish or translated.
Besides writing and editing articles for the web page I engage in giving presentations on climate issues, whenever anyone is interested. I am also the author of a book on the renewable energy transition (why it will fail) and a dystopic novel set in 2050 where Denmark has reached the vaunted net-zero emissions status - at tremendous cost to the ordinary people.
